When using keyboards and things within your workstation, good ergonomic practise is important as 95% of office workers spend majority of there day in front of computer screens typing away highlighting that to reduce injuries and discomfort ergonomic practise is a must. Making sure that your keyboard is in a position that allows the forearms to be close to horizontal and the wrists to be straight, your back is straight but not overly arched and if feet are not flat on the ground use a footstool or adjust your chair height if necessary. Within your ergonomic workstation make sure your desktop offers more than enough room for your keyboard and mouse; a cramped space will not give you enough room to type causing awkward and incorrect position ending in strain or stress to your joints.
