??The results of the direct measurement of the atmosphere show that the carbon dioxide concentration in the earth’s surface atmosphere has now exceeded 380 ppm (that is, 380 parts of carbon dioxide in a million parts of the volume), and the rising atmospheric greenhouse gases will inevitably increase the greenhouse effect and make the climate warming.

The IPCC Fourth Assessment Report concluded that by the end of the century, the most likely range of global average surface temperature rise would be 1.1-6.4 degrees Celsius, but it may still exceed or fall below this range. Even with the most conservative estimate, humanity ceases to emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Since the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere cannot immediately fall from the current high concentration to the pre-industrial level, the temperature of the Earth will still rise. The most likely value of the increase is 0.8 degrees Celsius.
