In time, the fame, wealth, and possessions that we have worked for during our lives will all
fade away and be forgotten. Our character, however, will transcend all temporary and material
possessions. We will either be remembered by our loyalty and well earned trust, or we will be
remembered by our bleak carelessness and poor character. We affect those around us in ways
we do not even realize. The influence that we have on our peers, teachers, and children will
shape the way they develop as a person and assist in molding them into who they will become.
Sound character is what makes man, and the importance of it should not be taken lightly.
