In the United Kingdom government provide free part time early year education which includes age 0-5. Since 2004 local education authorities funded by the government ensured that every child in the United Kingdom age 3 and 4 year old have been entitled to free placement in the nurseries and at childminders. From their 3rd birthday every child have the right to get free education. After that government extended these hours up to 38 weeks a year. because every child have opportunity to benefit from early year education. From 1st September 2013 early year education for age 2 has been started. This type of education includes reception classes as well. It distinct from key stage 1.There are different types of services available for children to enable their abilities and get them early year education. Sometimes attached to the primary schools and day nurseries. Day nurseries are private and provide care for children from age 0-5. According to law all must be registered and annually inspected by the OFSTED.
For the child’s assessment, the local authority may issue an Education, Health and Care plan.
