Every life that God gives is cherished

Every life that God gives is cherished, every life is chosen, and the every life is sent. In today’s world, some people do not have the chance to live the life that God planned for them because it is ended before they are born. Abortion is when a pregnancy is ended so that it does not result in the birth of a child. The child does not have a choice if it wants to live or not, so it is a decision made I thought consent whose life will be ended. Two reasons that women should not have an abortion are that taking the lives of people is against God’s will and that fetuses feel pain during the abortion process.
Abortion is the killing of a human being, which defies the word of God. The Bible does not draw a distinction between fetuses and babies: the Greek word brephos is used in the Bible to refer to both an unborn child and an infant. By the time a baby is conceived, he or she is recognized by God. The Sixth Commandment of the Bible’s Old Testament, “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13), applies to all human beings, including unborn babies.
Fetuses feel pain during the abortion procedure. The most primitive response to pain, the spinal reflex, is developed by eight weeks gestation. There is universal agreement that pain is detected by the fetus in the first trimester. If the fetus is beyond 20 weeks of gestation, there would be pain caused to the fetus, and it would be severe and excruciating pain. When an abortion is performed on a 12-week-old fetus, the child’s mouth is open in a silent scream. This is the silent scream of a child threatened imminently with extinction.
The Roman Catholic Church has consistently condemned abortion — the direct and purposeful taking of the life of the unborn child. In principle, Catholic Christians believe that all life is sacred from conception until natural death, and the taking of innocent human life, whether born or unborn, is morally wrong. The Church teaches, “Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being” (“Donum vitae,” 5). Because abortion goes against God’s word and causes pain to the fetus, it is morally wrong and should not be practiced. Every life should be cherished, chosen, and sent to carry out God’s will.
