Centrepoint is a retail shopping outlet. Centrepoint is a place where everyone comes for their clothing shopping, handbags and bags shopping, shoes shopping and kids/babies clothing and kids toys shopping. Centrepoint is the name of the shopping outlet and inside centrepoint there are 4 different stores/department of different products and they are Splash, Baby shop, Shoe mart and Lifestyle. In splash department/store, we get different varieties of clothes for adults and teenagers for both men and women. In baby shop department/store, we get different varieties of clothing and shoes for kids/babies and in baby shop there is separate compartment for kids toys where kids love to do toys shopping. In shoe mart department/store, we get different varieties of shoes like school shoes, wedges, formals, casuals, heels and many more for both men and women. The lifestyle department/store we get different varieties of handbags and bags of different brands like Guess, Charlotte Reid, Fiorelli and many more. We even get different varieties of home décor in lifestyle like a beautiful collection of all the items like the candle stands, clocks, photo frames and others. Centrepoint has a separate department for cosmetics/makeup. There are many different brands of cosmetics/makeup in centrepoint like Rimmel, NYX, Max factor, Maybelline, etc. each makeup brand has a stand or compartment where many people come for makeup shopping.
In Dubai we have many different malls that have the centrepoint store. The different malls that have centrepoint stores are Mirdif City Centre, Ajman City Centre, Mall of Emirates, Deira City Centre and many others.

Managers when overseeing the work of others they have to be good leaders. When managers performing the function of leading, the managers have to do it regularly as it is a continuous process.

Leading is the function of management. It is a process of influencing others or working with people so that the organizational goals are accomplished.

A leader is a person who is at a managerial position he/she influences others in such a way that the organizational goals are achieved.

Leadership styles
The different types of leadership styles are:
1. Authoritarian/autocratic leader

2. Democratic/participative leader

3. Paternalistic leader

4. Laissez faire/ free-rein leader

1. Authoritarian/autocratic leader-
An autocratic leader is a leader who gives orders to others or employees and he expects that the employees will obey those orders. An autocratic leader is a leader who does not want to change or wish to change. An autocratic leader will listen to the employee’s ideas, concerns but the decision will be of their own.

2. Democratic/participative leader-
An democratic leader is a leader who will make the important decisions or plans with discussing with his/her employees. In this leadership style, employees play a very important role. Most of the companies prefer democratic leadership style as the leaders have understood that the employees will perform better if they have their own way to perform the work and no one pressurizes them. The democratic leader respects the opinions and ideas of the employees as the employees perform the work and achieve the organizational goals.

3. Paternalistic leader-
A paternalistic leader is a leader who has the authority to give orders or make decisions to employees but the leader treats the employees as if they are the part of their family. A paternalistic leader is similar to autocratic leader but not in a negative way. The employee needs to be trust-worthy, obedient and loyal to his leader and it mainly focuses freshers.

4. Laissez fair/ free-rein leader-
A free-rein leader is a leader that has the powers and has the authority to make decisions but does not believe in giving orders or using the powers unless it is very important. The employees are given the opportunity to make the decisions on their own and they decide how to achieve the objectives. The manager is only there to give them the required resources and information and the employees have the responsibility to perform the work.

? The daily decisions are made by our leaders and we follow those decisions and after finishing the task we report to our leader at the end of the day.

? Yes, we have direct contact with our leaders as if there is any problem occurred we need to contact our leader and tell him.

? Yes, we give top to the goal of the company, when the goal of the company is achieved we get commissions, promotions and bonuses.

5. Does your manager/leader treat all the employees equally?

? Yes, our leader treats all the employees equally. Our leader is very sweet and helpful and listens to all the problems carefully.

6. Does your leader give importance to your suggestions?

? Yes, our leader gives importance to our suggestions or ideas. Our leader wants to achieve the goal of the company so any idea or suggestion given by any employee who is innovative and new considers the idea or suggestion.
